Downtown Argenta hosting antique tractor show

May 11, 2022 – Downtown Argenta is holding an Antique Tractor event this Saturday, May 14th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Elm Street will be closed off and lined with Antique Tractors along with old hit and miss engines and antique farm tools. Organizers are expecting over 40 Tractors ranging from the 1940s to the 1960s made up of at least 6 different makes.

The event is called “Farming in the Fifties” and will include vendors selling handcrafted items lined up alongside Garriott’s Antique Barn, which will also be open. At 1:30 pm, an Antique Car Cruise will roll through the event and stop in for ice cream. Kups and Kones will be serving coffee that morning and Ice cream all day. Bargenta and Smokin Jason’s will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The event is free and sponsored by Annella Farms and Argenta in Motion (AIM). If you wish to exhibit an antique tractor, please contact Marty Bayless at 217-201-3580. Please note that if it rains this Saturday, the event will be rescheduled to the following Saturday, May 21st.
