Find new ideas for your garden during the Macon County Master Gardener Garden Walk

June 14, 2022 – Do you have a passion for gardening? Join others who share your passion at the Macon County Master Gardener Garden Walk. Spend the afternoon walking through beautifully landscaped gardens and gather ideas for your home gardens.
The Macon County Master Gardener Garden Walk will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, and includes gardens located in Decatur’s downtown historical district, the west end, and the north side. Purchase tickets until June 24 for $10 at go.illinois.edu/MaconGardenWalk, by phone at 217-877-6042, or at the Macon County Extension office, 3351 N. President Howard Brown Blvd. Youth eighteen and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
The Farmers Market Garden Center, located at 1805 N. Main Street in Decatur, will have tickets available the day of the event from noon to 4 p.m. for $12.
The Master Gardener program is an all-volunteer program sanctioned by the land grant institution in each state and functions as an extension of the college or university. In Illinois, the program is sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension.
