Decatur Central Park Farmer’s Market

Jun 15, 2022 | 8:23 AM

June 14, 2022- The Downtown Decatur Central Park Farmer’s Market is back for the season! Each Saturday from 8 a.m. til noon, and from June through October, you can find up to 15 vendors with their handmade goods, homegrown flowers, and produce for sale.

The market is set up in the southwest corner of Central Park in downtown Decatur.

Organizer Carla Vercellino gave insight to some of the products you can find each week:

Buds-N-Blooms, as the market sponsor brings homemade jams, jellies, salsas, locally sourced honey, eggs, and produce.

The Veterans Association has handmade ironwork birdfeeder shepherds’ hooks, hanging baskets and more.  All of their proceeds will go towards the local veterans in our community.

New Hope Animal Outreach provides plants, herbs, and flowers. It uses the proceeds to support their mission of saving and providing quality lives to animals by facilitating education of humane ownership, affordable spay/neuter programs, healthcare, temporary shelter, and permanent homes.

In addition to these cause-based organizations, there are many more vendors offering baked goods, homemade dog treats, goat milk soaps, handmade candles and birdfeeders, floral arrangements, and a variety of fresh produce and meat products.

Catch the Decatur Central Park Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. til noon through October.
