Ludacris’ Manager Chaka Zulu Shot During Incident In Atlanta

Ludacris' longtime manager, music executive Chaka Zulu, was shot during an argument in the Buckhead section of Atlanta on Sunday night (June 26th).

Chaka was one of three men shot in a parking lot on Peachtree Road around 11:35 p.m., as confirmed by XXL via the Atlanta Police Department. The shooting reportedly took place outside of Apt4b restaurant following a verbal altercation. One man was killed during the shooting while Chaka and a second unnamed victim were taken to a local hospital for surgery.

While the gunman has not been taken into custody, police say they have surveillance video of the scene and hope to be able to identify the shooter.

Chaka and the other victim are expected to recover from their injuries.

Chaka Zulu, his brother Jeff Dixon and Ludacris founded Disturbing The Peace Records back in 1998. The label featured artists such as Chingy, Shawnna, Bobby Valentino, Playaz Circle, Lil Scrappy and more.
