August 1, 2022 – On Wednesday, August 24, Millikin University will host a “State of the University” event from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will take place at Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Millikin President Dr. James M. Reynolds will provide updates on the University’s strategic plan, ongoing capital projects and the goals for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year.
“We hope that our community joins us for this special event. We are excited to open our campus to local citizens and industry partners, share our progress and highlight the impact that the Millikin experience has on our students and the Decatur community,” President Reynolds said.
In addition to President Reynolds’ address, the public is invited to enjoy tours of Millikin’s campus, as well as a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception at Millikin’s Center for Theatre & Dance.

3:15 – 4:00 p.m. – State of the University Address
4:30 p.m. – Reception at the Center for Theatre & Dance Patio
