August 17, 2022 – Lockhart’s Barber College, in partnership with the Painters and Glaziers Union, is providing free back-to-school haircuts for students K-12.
All week, local students will receive a free haircut done by student barbers under the supervision of Instructor and Owner of Lockhart’s Barber College Brandon Kraus. Kraus stated, “LBC and the Painters & Glaziers Union established this partnership in the spirit of community service and providing the youth of Central Illinois an opportunity to return to the classroom looking and feeling their very best! The free cuts run this entire week—we are happy to give back to the community that has continuously supported us!”
The partnership between Lockhart’s Barber College and the Painters and Glaziers Union goes back 7 years, only missing out on the back-to-school season of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
