October 13, 2022 – Creators Wanted is coming to Decatur from October 24 – 26 and will be located in the Shilling Center at Richland Community College.
Creators Wanted is the U.S. manufacturing industry’s largest campaign to build the workforce of tomorrow – and inspire, educate and empower a new generation of creators today. This event show will show the community what modern manufacturing is all about.
Creators Wanted is bringing an immersive experience, programming, and an online resource hub to help people in communities like Decatur explore their future in manufacturing. The tour features an award-winning immersive experience to help students, parents, teachers and other career mentors learn and get excited about careers in modern manufacturing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet manufacturers, get hands-on with manufacturing technology, and participate in programming with stars in the industry.
Creators Wanted is brought to you by local manufacturers ADM and Caterpillar, and has partnered with Illinois Manufacturing Association and FactoryFix. Students and community members alike are invited to attend this complimentary event.
