November 2, 2022 – The Macon County Clerk’s Office is open for extended early voting hours.
Early Voting Location: Macon County Office Building. 141 South Main Street –Room 119. Decatur, Illinois. 217-424-1333
- Through Friday, November 4, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 5, and Sunday, November 6, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Monday, November 7, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For those voters who have requested a vote by mail ballot, they must be postmarked no later than November 8. Vote-by-mail ballots can also be placed in the drop box located on the south side of the Macon County Office Building at 141 S Main Street. If a voter is using the drop box they must follow the instructions as though they were going to mail the ballot, without adding postage. Additionally, it is very important that voters sign the certification included with their vote-by-mail ballot.
