DRAKE POSTPONES APOLLO THEATHER CONCERT OUT OF RESPECT FOR TAKEOFF: Drake has potponed his Friday (November 11th) concert at the Apollo Theather due to Takeoff's funeral, which will be held at the State Farm Arena. According to Complex, the rapper announced that the new date for the Apollo Theater will be on December 6th and 7th.

KANYE WEST SUED FOR BDP SAMPLE: According to TMZ, Kanye West is being sued over his “Life Of The Party” song for using a sample of Boogie Down Productions' hit “South Bronx.” According to legal docs, the record company that owns the copyright to the song claims that Ye never got permission to sample the song when her released it as a bonus track on Donda on the Stem player device. The company said that Ye and his partner Alex Klein sold around 11K Stem Players within the first 24 hours of its release, making around $2.2 million dollars, but claims they never got permission to use the sample even though the company says Ye’s team initially reached out to try to license it. The company says they never came to an agreement and says that Ye's side eventually retracted its offer to license it. The company is now looking to block further use of the song in the track and wants Ye to hand over any profits generated off it.

KODAK BLACK AND DESIIGNER RESPOND TO 21 SAVAGE SAYING HE COULD BEAT ANYONE FROM 2016 FRESHMAN LIST IN A VERZUZ: 21 Savage recently said that he felt that no one from the XXL Freshman class of 2016 could beat him in a Verzuz battle. He explained, “No one from that… Freshman cover beat me in no Verzuz.” 21 was featured alongside Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, Dave East, Lil Dicky, Desiigner, and Anderson .Paak. In a response shared during a recent Instagram Live stream, Kodak Black said that he admires 21 Savage’s confidence but called his suggestion “cap.” He continued, “That’s how you should feel, know what I mean? But you know I always put myself first over any n***a, any day. That’s cap.” Desiigner also responded, saying, “Ay man, why you talking like that? You’re 21. I went platinum 20 times. … Stop playing.”

DABABY HAS A BOGO OFFER FOR AN UPCOMING SHOW: DaBaby was trending on social media yesterday (November 7th) after it was revealed that the rapper has a show in Birmingham, AL and the tickets has a BOGO offer: if you buy the tickets at $22, you will be able to get a second ticket for free. Social media reacted immediately, with one person saying, “DaBaby selling his tickets BOGO has got to be the saddest sh*t ever for a rapper. And it’s crazy cause nobody else hurt his career more than he did. Talk about self-sabotage, a lack of situational awareness, and ego.” The concert is set to take place on November 15th.
