November 13, 2022 – The St. Teresa Bulldogs put on an offensive showing in their IHSA-Class 2A quarterfinals against the Pana Panthers 37-12 to move onto the state semifinals.
The Bulldogs will now prepare to face the second-ranked Johnston City Indians on Saturday, November 19, at 3:00 p.m. Both teams go into the matchup undefeated.
In the quarterfinals, the ‘dogs relied heavily on their rushing to dominate the Panthers. Jaccarion Jones had 152 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries.
Their defense also stepped up as Brycen Hendrix had a fumble recovery for a touchdown. St. Teresa allowed 265 total yards on defense.
Jeremy Walker added a rushing touchdown as the Bulldogs finished up the evening with a win. Now, they will face the Indians who won their quarterfinal matchup against Althoff Catholic 42-32.
