November 30, 2022 – Carol Henz, a café associate with Food and Nutrition Services at Decatur Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for November.
Henz is a multitasker known for excelling at several tasks at the same time in the cafeteria and always with a positive attitude. Her nominator is certain Henz logs 10,000 steps a day.
“Carol is constantly floating back and forth between the food preparation and the cash registers,” her nominator wrote. “I can’t tell with her mask on, but I’m sure she has a smile on her face! She is always very polite and tells you to have a good day, even when you know her day isn’t going that great.”
Henz has worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2010.
