December 21, 2022 – Abbott EMS is collecting non-perishable food donations today, Wednesday, December 21, until 2:00 p.m. in the Save-A-Lot parking lot located on West Grand Avenue.
Brian Gerth, Abbott regional director, said, “With the big storm coming in, we know that this is even more of a priority for those that may not have the resources to have a comfortable holiday season.”
Gerth and a few helpers are ready to collect any and all donations in order to reach their goals. If you are unable to visit their ambulance in the Save-A-Lot parking lot, their team has set up another donation spot at the Shelbyville Walmart. That location will close at 3:00 p.m.
“It’s the least we can do and we appreciate how giving our community always has been,” Gerth said.
