Our January Y103 Teacher Of The Month Presented by Corley Family Dental and Glenda Williamson Realty coincided with #NationalPenguinAwarenessDay so it was a very fun surprise for everyone involved! Mrs Koslofski (Mrs K), 2nd grade teacher at MTZ Grade School, had an adorable penguin hat on and her entire classroom had made penguin hats to match! We accidentally interrupted an afternoon viewing of Happy Feet but everyone was okay with it to celebrate Mrs K. We couldn’t have made this prize pack any better thanks to our amazing prize sponsors like the Secret Garden who gave her a beautiful plant, Shane Major of Richland Insurance who gave her a gift card to use at Capelli’s, plus Texas Roadhouse, Penelope Boutique, Avon Theater, Marquis Beverage, and Club Car Wash all giving her gift cards to come in and treat herself! The best part of the surprise was all the kiddos of her classroom in their penguin hats taking a silly picture with Shyler and Mrs K!
