Amber Rose says that people care more about her relationship with ex Kanye West than she does. During a recent podcast interview, she said, “Like, I think that people like to ask about my relationship with Kanye but it was 13 years ago guys.”
She continued, “I mean, I obviously have to bring him up cause he’s a huge part of my story and how I got here. But yeah, no, I mean I feel like people are obsessed with that because it was like, a great time in pop culture but in my personal life it is not relevant.”
When asked if she loved ex husband Wiz Khalifa or Kanye West more, she said, “Wiz girl. That’s not even a question.”
She went on to discuss her marriage to Wiz Khalifa in 2013. She filed for divorce one year later, citing irreconcilable differences. She said, “My ex-husband cheated on me. We were married, we were young.”
Amber admitted she cried “every day for three years” over her divorce. She explained, “I married my soulmate and then all of a sudden he wasn’t there anymore. Because our mothers, the internet, there was too much pressure to be married so young and we just had a baby. I was f*ck*ng heartbroken.”
Amber said that she and Wiz are “the best of friends” as they co-parent their 9-year-old son Sebastian.
