March 22, 2023 – Hickory Point Bank’s Josh Logan and Shamika Madison of Boys and Girls Club joined Byers & Co for the Hickory Point Bank Community Invested series.
The Boys and Girls Club of Decatur is an afterschool program that has been a driving force behind childhood development and growth for over 45 years. During the 2020 pandemic, they served over 700 youth in the Decatur/Macon County Area. The Club has maintained a 98% academic promotion rate for all registered members for the 2018-2019 academic school years. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens.
Hickory Point Bank has long been involved with the Boys and Girls Club through volunteerism as well as board leadership. Josh Logan, a financial advisor with Hickory Point Bank, has served on the board of The Boys and Girls Club for a year. He says places like The Boys and Girls Club are essential for a communities success in providing a safe and fun place for youth.
