April 19, 2023 – In celebration of Earth Week 2023, over 30 ADM colleagues and Living Lands & Waters (LL&W) are teaming up this week to participate in a range of volunteer events and educational programs in recognition of the commitment to environmental stewardship.

Today, as part of Living Lands & Waters’ MillionTrees Project, ADM Decatur colleagues planted 100 trees throughout the Decatur community at Scovill Park, Fairview Park and the Living Science Farm at the Andreas Ag Academy. The trees were purchased through ADM.

Living Lands & Waters has been a long-time partner of ADM since 2004. In fact, ADM is the longest-running partner with the organization.

This week, ADM is also hosting a special presentation featuring the founder of Living Lands & Waters, Chad Pregracke, who will offer insight into LL&W’s mission, river cleanup events, and tree-planting activities, as well as a look at ADM and LL&W’s partnership in the years to come.

Living Lands & Waters is also hosting educational outreach programs at schools around Macon County, including Parsons Elementary School, Mt. Zion Grade School, and Maroa-Forsyth Elementary School.
