April 19, 2023 – The Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the State of the Community on Thursday, April 27th from 8:00 am – 10:00 am at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel.
The State of the Community will celebrate past accomplishments and provide an opportunity to learn about Decatur and Macon County’s future. Several community leaders will be introduced and provide information on various topics including:
- The Decatur Park District master plan, presented by Clay Gerhard.
- Infrastructure improvements, presented by Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe and Macon County Board Chairman Kevin Greenfield.
- Carbon sequestration, presented by ADM’s Greg Webb and David Rice
- Expansion of the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center campus, presented by Jim Getz.
