May 3, 2023 – The Decatur Park District and Decatur Area Arts Council are looking for groups to help beautify Decatur area parks with “Transform A Trashcan.”
Schools, Camps, Families and Groups are all invited to transform a trash can with the help of paint and some creativity. These beautified cans will be displayed at Lake Fest on July 7, 8 & 9 and then transferred to Decatur area parks.
Groups can submit their application or find more information at Decatur-parks.org. Trash Cans and paint supplies will be available for pick-up at the Decatur Park District Admin Offices (620 East Riverside Avenue) the week of May 8.
