May 4, 2023 – The Lincoln Square Theater will hold a “Rock The Renovation”Fundraiser this Friday to support continued renovations at the theater.
Performing live at the theater starting at 7pm is singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Eliot Lewis from the popular show “Live From Daryl’s House”.
Doors will open tomorrow at 6:00 pm with the show at 7:00 pm. Trolly shuttle service starts at 4:30pm from the south-east corner of the Decatur Civic Center. Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased HERE.
Elliot Lewis has toured the world over as a member of the Daryl Hall & John Oates band, as well as a former member of The Average White Band. He has also worked with rock-n-roll greats such as Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Joe Walsh, Sammy Hagar, Todd Rundgren, Train, and Cheap Trick. Daryl Hall himself said “Eliot is a musician who can do it all, great singer, songwriter and guitarist. He rocks and he’s got soul. No one does it quite like him”. Eliot has released eight solo CD’s featuring his famous singing tone and mastery over four different instruments including guitar, keyboard, bass and drums.
The Lincoln Square Theater, located at 141 N Main St, Decatur Illinois was built in 1916, closed in 2016 and opened again in 2020.
