June 13, 2023 -The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater will host the 3rd annual Juneteenth Multicultural Celebration on Sunday, June 18.
“We are excited to host Juneteenth at the Devon again this year and bring the community together”, says Stacey Young, Commissioner, Decatur Park Board. We are the change is our theme this year because we strongly believe our actions and the things we do can change so much for our community and the nation.”
The event will be held in the Amphitheater from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. and will include musical performances from Smooth Times Band and Dynamic Threat, vendor booths, demonstrations, dance performances, poetry readings and food trucks from Lavell’s Kitchen and Snowball Effect along the lakefront.
The event is free and open to the public and no ticket is required.
