June 22, 2023 – Scott Broyles of Richland Community College joined Byers & Co. to preview their upcoming Operation Obstacle fundraiser.
In coordination with the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs Suicide Prevention Team, RCC will host their third annual race to raise awareness for veteran suicide on Saturday, September 23. The two mile, timed race is mostly flat but will feature various obstacles, including carrying or pulling objects a short distance, army net crawls or climbing over, under and through objects. There will also be a non-competitive fun run.
All finishers will receive a challenge coin and goodie bag. All proceeds collected will support RCC’s Student Veteran’s Resource Center.
