July 1
- Harristown Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration: entertainment/vendors beginning at 4 p.m., fireworks at dusk at Sangamon Valley Primary School
- Arthur Freedom Celebration: parade at 2 p.m. in downtown Arthur, fireworks at 9:30 p.m. in Jurgens Park
- Macon Speedway: 95Q Fan Appreciation Night, fireworks at dusk
- Maroa Freedom Fest: activities throughout the evening, fireworks at 9 p.m. in Spencer Park
July 3
- Mt. Zion Blue Ribbon Night: gates open at 5 p.m., vendors and live music onsite, fireworks at dusk
- Blue Mound: Foulk’s Auction, fireworks at 9 p.m.
July 4
- Decatur Park District: activities throughout the day (click HERE for full listing), show at The Devon at 7 p.m., fireworks at dusk
