Jordan Davis has topped the Mediabase Country chart this week with his latest hit, “Next Thing You Know.” Jordan co-wrote the song, which is his sixth Number One.
He shared the news on social media yesterday (Monday, June 26th) writing in part, “This song has been a special one since the day I wrote it … Thank you Country radio for continuing to support my music and giving me my 6th #1 song…And to my fans, y’all don’t know how grateful I am for y’all in making this song what it is…Much love, and cheers to “Next Thing You Know” being #1″
Jordan made a habit of watching “Next Thing You Know” climb the charts. He tells us: “I’d be lying to say I don’t watch the charts,” he says. “I do keep up with where my songs are at. This one has been one of the quicker moving ones, actually the fastest moving song I’ve ever put out. It’s been cool to watch the rise of it, so I definitely paid a little more attention to this one without being nervous at looking. I’ve tried to like not pay too much attention to it, but this one is definitely one that’s been fun to track.”
Jordan re-joins Dierks Bentley on his Gravel & Gold Tour on July 8th in Chicago.
