June 27, 2023 – The Price is Right will be stopping by Champaign-Urbana this fall, and audience members will have the opportunity to ‘come on down’ and play classic games from the popular game show.
The Price is Right is the longest-running game show in television history, and those from Central Illinois can participate in games like Plinko, Cliffhangers and the Showcase Showdown during an on-stage traveling version on October 25. Selected contestants could win cash prizes, a new car, or a vacation through the interactive show at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s State Farm Center.
The television show has been airing for decades, but the stage show has awarded over $12 million in prizes to participants nationwide for over 10 years.
