June 29, 2023 – MrBeast Burger—a virtual fast-food chain introduced by YouTube content creator and philanthropist Jimmy Donaldson, known by his channel name MrBeast—is expanding its existing delivery services in Decatur.

The fast-food chain has set up shop in hundreds of cities nationwide, but the burgers, sandwiches, fries and more off the menu are only available for delivery or pickup. Food is prepared in a “ghost kitchen,” which is when a separate food vendor (in this case, MrBeast Burger) operates out of an existing restaurant’s kitchen. Local foodies have been able to get MrBeast’s food delivered through third-party delivery services—like DoorDash or Uber Eats—or for pickup through the chain’s website for several years through Perkins Family Restaurant’s ghost kitchen, but another local restaurant owner recently announced they’re opening their kitchen to MrBeast too.

Jessica Michael and Chazaray Carson, the co-owners of Carson Michael Restaurants LLC, which recently opened a Huddle House franchise near I-72 in north Decatur, announced their partnership with MrBeast Burger Wednesday. Michael said in an email to NowDecatur.com that the new location is “an expanded location in the market area,” and according to the chain’s website, local consumers will still have the opportunity to choose between the existing Perkins location and the newly established ghost kitchen when ordering online.

“At Carson Michael Restaurants, our commitment is to provide top-tier food experiences,” said Carson in a press release. “With this new venture, we’re excited to serve up not just great food, but also the fun and uniqueness that MrBeast Burger brings to the table.”

To place an order, customers can visit the MrBeast Burger website by clicking HERE or download the third-party food delivery app of their choice—currently, Carson Michael Restaurants said orders can be placed via DoorDash. To get food from the existing Perkins location, users should select the North Monroe Street location, and if they want to try offerings from the new Huddle House ghost kitchen, they should select Hospitality Lane as their pickup or delivery spot.
