July 5, 2023 – Due to this weekend’s Centennial Lake Fest, the Nelson Park Boat Ramps and boat trailer parking lot will be closed.
Starting Friday, July 7 at 5 a.m. until Monday, July 10 at 5 a.m., both locations will be inaccessible to the public because of activities occurring on the lakefront. According to the City of Decatur, the closure is for the safety of festivalgoers. Other boat ramps along the lake will remain open.
