July 26, 2023 – The Hieronymus Mueller Museum will host a pop-up session for feedback on planned exhibit expansions at the Decatur Public Library next Thursday, August 3, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
The museum, which tells the story of Hieronymus Mueller, his family and the company he founded—Mueller Co., is looking to expand its 2,000-square-foot permanent exhibit in the next few years and is seeking input from the public. Officials will be tabling at the Decatur Public Library’s interest for adults and children alike to see artifacts and photographs, enter giveaways and provide feedback on what they’d like to see reflected in the exhibit’s update.
“The current exhibit has served the museum well over the past 20 years, but it’s time for a refresh,” said Katherine Unruh, Museum Director, in a press release. “You do not need to be familiar with the Hieronymus Mueller Museum or Mueller Company in order to provide feedback. We want to create an exhibit that addresses what interests you most.”
