August 2, 2023 – Memorial Medical Imaging Center opened in Mt. Zion Tuesday with upgraded technology and diagnostic services.
The center, previously located at 1689 S. Franklin St. and known as South Shores Imaging, provides diagnostic X-rays, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, 3D digital screening mammography, bone density screening, EKG, blood draws, and MRI scans. The new center is located at 1724 N. State Route 121, Mt. Zion.
“The imaging technology available at our new Mt. Zion clinic is a significant upgrade from our previous clinic,” said Tamar Kutz, vice president of quality and operations at Decatur Memorial Hospital. “We are proud to be able to offer Decatur patients state-of-the-art MRI, CT, bone density screening and 3D digital screening mammography services in a convenient location.”
Imaging services are also available locally at Memorial Imaging Center in Forsyth and at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
