August 7, 2023 – Fall hours of operation will begin next week at various Decatur Park District facilities.
Starting next week, Splash Cove, Overlook Adventure Park and Over the Top Ice Cream Shop will have shortened hours of operation as fall starts. New hours began today at Scovill Zoo.
Beginning Monday, August 14
- Splash Cove: open Saturday & Sunday only noon-6:30 p.m. (open on Labor Day noon-6:30 p.m.)
- Overlook Adventure Park: open Thursday 4-8 p.m., Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday noon-8 p.m. (open on Labor Day 10 a.m.-8 p.m.)
- Over the Top Ice Cream Shop: open Thursday 4-9 p.m. (closed beginning September 7), Friday 4-9 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday noon-9 p.m. (open on Labor Day noon-9 p.m.)
Beginning Monday, August 7
- Scovill Zoo: weekdays 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. until October 9 (zoo grounds close one hour after last admission is sold)
