August 20, 2023 – Twenty-nine Macon County 4-H members participated in the 4-H General Project Show held on August 13 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield. Volunteer judges named eight Macon County 4-H members Champion, Reserve Champion, and Inspire award winners.
The following youth were selected as Champion, Reserve Champion, or Inspire award winners:

Eli Walker, Visual Arts Glass, Reserve Champion
Volunteer judges evaluate project exhibits and give 4-H members an opportunity to show off their skills. 4-H is the largest out-of-school youth organization in Illinois, providing programs for kids in career exploration, leadership, civic engagement, creative arts, environment, cooking, STEM and robotics, shooting sports, and more.
