August 21, 2023 – Tickets are now on sale for Mid-Summer Moon’s upcoming production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka.
Set to hit the Decatur Civic Center stage starting Friday, September 15, Mid-Summer Moon invites audience members to travel through a ‘world of imagination’ with Willy Wonka and his cast of characters as he sets out to find the heir to his chocolate factory. The musical is a treat for all ages and combines fun songs with engaging set pieces to bring the classic to life.
Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 15, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 16 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 17. After the Saturday matinee, the cast will host an onstage ‘talk-back’ and welcome audience members backstage to see the set. Tickets are $10 for children and $12 for adults with a 75 cent processing fee and can be purchased online.
