CHARLIE ROBISON DEAD AT 59: Country singer and Nashville Star judge, Charlie Robison, has died at the age of 59. His wife, Kristen Robison, announced on Facebook Sunday (Sept. 10th) that the “I Want You Bad” singer passed away “surrounded by his family and friends.” According to the Associated Press, Robison – who was once married to The Chicks’ founding member Emily Strayer – died from cardiac arrest and other complications at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

HANK WILLIAMS JR. IS ENGAGED: Hank Williams Jr. is engaged 18 months after the death of his wife Mary. The 74-year-old country singer announced his engagement to fiancée Brandi in an announcement shared to the Facebook page of The Pure Hank Radio Show last week. The post showed a photo of the happy couple and read, “The newly engaged outlaw country music and southern rock legend Hank Williams, Jr. alongside is beautiful and lovely fiancée Brandi.”
