September 17, 2023 – The 3rd annual Hispanic Heritage Month Festival, presented by el Centro for Hispanic & Immigrant Community Opportunities (CHICO) and Walk It Like We Talk It, was held Nelson Park on Sunday.
In addition to several food vendors, live entertainment, and booths from organizations across the community, artists were on-site to create intricate henna designs, face painting for kids, and memorable caricatures.
Following the event, a concert featuring Ramón Ayala and Parranderos Combo Latino was held at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater.
