October 8, 2023 – The Decatur Area Arts Council has announced plans for the 6th annual community art project Christmas Card Lane for this holiday season.
Christmas Card Lane is an outdoor exhibit/competition comprised of larger-than-life ‘greeting cards’ created by local artists and community groups.
DAAC will provide a 4’ x 6’ sheet of plywood primed with white paint. Artists must provide all other supplies/materials needed to create their design. The finished cards will be displayed in downtown Decatur’s Preston Jackson Park from November 20 to December 30, 2023. The community will be invited to vote for their favorite card designs and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three designs.
The fee to participate is $30 per card and space is limited. Click HERE for guidelines and sign ups.
