November 27, 2023 – The Salvation Army is hosting a friendly competition between local community mayors with a bell-ringing challenge and it starts this weekend.
Mayors of Forsyth, Mt Zion, Maroa, and Oreana will be ringing bells at select locations on Dec 2 or Dec 9 to see which mayor can raise the most for the Red Kettle campaign. Each mayor will also be hosting their own virtual kettle during the week of Dec 2-9 so people can donate online.

Jim Peck – Forsyth…ringing Dec 2 at Hobby Lobby 10 am to 6 pm
Luke Williams – Mt. Zion…ringing Dec 2 at MtZ Walmart – Pharmacy Door 10 am to 6 pm Ryan Wilkey – Maroa…ringing Dec 9 at Hobby Lobby 10 am to 6 pm
Aaron Keathley – Oreana…ringing Dec 2 at Melisty Mart in Oreana 10 am to 8 pm
