December 10, 2023 – The Staley Museum is celebrating the honorary naming of the Staley Square at their annual Holiday Open House on Wednesday, December 13th from 5-8pm.
The open house will feature three floors of the historic building decorated for the holidays along with light refreshments. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance and participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the honorary naming of the square. Afterwards, they will be available for photographs.
This event is free to all.
The Staley Museum is located in the historic district at 361 N. College St., in Decatur, IL. To get to the museum from Decatur, go north on Route 51 and turn left onto E. North Street. Follow E. North Street until it becomes N. College Street and the museum will be located on the square. Free parking is available on the street or in the parking lot located behind the museum.
