January 3, 2024 – From January 5 – 25, the Decatur Area Arts Council Anne Lloyd Gallery will display the amazing artwork of young artists.
The Young Artist’s Showcase features artwork created by students in the fifth through eighth grades from Macon County and surrounding areas. Over 120 pieces of artwork representing 16 area schools will be exhibited. Best of Show and other awards will be recognized for fifth/sixth and seventh/eighth grades separately.
The awards reception for the students will be held during First Friday, January 5, at 5:30 p.m. The event is open free to the public.
The gallery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Every Saturday, the gallery is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
