January 3, 2024 –The Macon County 4-H is launching a 4-H Dog Club for local dog owners and their canine companions.
The club will launch on January 22nd at Northgate Pet Clinic at 2800 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. The club will be held from 6pm to 7pm. The organizers say the club will offer people and their dogs an opportunity to grow, bond, and learn about dog ownership.
The first meeting is for humans only. Owners are required to provide shot records for the dogs and size for collars. There is also a $20 membership fee due by January 19. For registration visit go.illinois.edu/DMPDogClub. Fee waivers are available. Participants do not need to live in Macon County to participate. Kids 8 to 18 may also participate in the club.
