January 8, 2024 – The Macon County Farm Bureau is accepting applications for their scholarship program.
Farm Bureau members and their children majoring in an agricultural-related field may apply for a variety of scholarships offered this year. The scholarship application is available on www.MaconCFB.org and must be received by March 1.
“The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation prides itself on supporting the ag-leaders of tomorrow. It has provided over $150,000 in scholarships over the last twenty-six years and looks forward to supporting many more for years to come,” said Jennifer Fink, Ag Literacy Coordinator and Director of Information, Macon County Farm Bureau.
More than $192,000 in scholarships are available for agriculture students for the upcoming school year through the IAA Foundation. The scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,500. They are awarded based on involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service, academic performance, leadership experiences, and an essay.
