To start out in 2024 with such a genuinely adored teacher sure melted the ice and snow off all of our hearts! Here is or January Teacher of the Month: Mr. G at Mt Zion Intermediate! Whenever a teacher says “Oh me?? No way! I couldn’t possible accept this!” You know you’ve got a truly deserving individual. Students, families, and even faculty members joined forces to make Mr G the most consistently nominated teacher of the school year so far! Here’s what some of them had to say:
“Mr G is 1 in a million – or even more rare than that! I have never met a person more enthusiastic about his job, or about life in general! Need a smile, go to Mr. G. He ALWAYS leaves you feeling better than you did before you saw him. I sub for him occasionally, and I always feel bad that the kids are missing a day of the Mr. G experience- I can’t compare!”
“There is not enough space to explain how awesome he is! My son, 4 years later, still talks about him as one of the most influential teachers he ever has. The care he has for his students and respect he receives back is unparalleled!”
“Mr G is always understands math and he is always so positive, makes learning fun, and also all the students love him. He gives hi fives to everyone in the halls. As a student, I feel like I’ve really learned so much this year. I can’t wait to go to school and learn this year! He’s my favorite teacher I’ve ever had!”
