Macon County Farm Bureau, Synergy Home Care, and Warrensburg Latham High to host Community Blood Drives

February 26, 2024 – The Macon County Farm Bureau, Synergy Home Care, and Warrensburg Latham High School will be hosting Community Blood Drives with Impact Life in the coming weeks to meet the demand for blood donations.

The Macon County Farm Bureau blood drive will be March 9, 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM at 1150 W Pershing Rd, Decatur, IL. To donate, please contact Betty Gosda at (217) 877-2436 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 60834 to locate the drive. 

The Synergy Home Care blood drive will be February 29, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 373 1st Dr W, Decatur, IL. To donate, please contact Taylor Stevens at (217) 415-3751 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 61568 to locate the drive. 

The Warrensburg Latham High School blood drive will be March 8, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 425 N North Street, Warrensburg, IL. To donate, please contact Stephanie Thien at (217) 672-3531 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 60831 to locate the drive. 

Donors must be at least 17 years of age or 16 years of age with a parental permission form through www.bloodcenter.org. You also must weigh more than 110 pounds and a photo I.D will be required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call ImpactLife at (800) 747-5401. 

The blood drives will directly impact hospitals that use ImpactLife as their blood provider. That includes HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital and Decatur Memorial.
