February 26, 2024 -The Macon County Republican Women will host the candidates seeking the office of Macon County Coroner at its regular monthly meeting on March 7th and the public is invited to attend.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, March 7 at the Salvation Army, 229 W. Main St., Decatur. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6 p.m.
Michael Burkham, Jeff Kashefska and Whalen Vancil will face off in a Republican primary on March 19th. The Democratic candidate is Tiffany Hall. Current Macon County Coroner, Michael Day, is not seeking re-election.
There is no cost to attend the forum.
