April 21, 2024- Volunteers from ADM’s facility teamed up once again with Decatur’s Habitat for Humanity to help with renovation efforts at Habitat’s home on E. Johns Ave.

Decatur Habitat for Humanity works together with community partners, families, and volunteers to create opportunities for more people to live in affordable and safe homes. As part of the renovation efforts, ADM volunteers reglazed windows, and worked on flooring and helped with bathroom renovations.

ADM employee, Brian Yowell, said he volunteered to be a part of revitalizing the community. “Plus, I’ve had help in the past of my life and this is my way of paying it forward.”

The project was part of ADM’s efforts to assist revitalization efforts in Decatur. The company has also hosted large-scale team community cleanup events with the Beautify Decatur Coalition and has partnered with the City’s Block by Block program in assisting in beautification and landscaping work.
