May 29, 2024 -The Decatur Park District will once again be hosting the MidState Cup from May 31 to June 2 at the Decatur Soccer Complex. Presented by ADM and Main Place Realty, the tournament will bring together U8 – U19 boys and girls club teams from Illinois and the surrounding states, with an expected attendance of around 145 teams.
In addition to games at the MidState Soccer Complex, matches will also be played at St. Teresa, Maroa-Forsyth, and Millikin. This provides an opportunity for players and coaches to showcase their skills in multiple venues.
Colin Bonner, the Director of MidState Soccer Club, expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “I am thrilled for our coaches and players to have the chance to compete at home in our beautiful complex. It allows family members, who often travel a lot, to see their kids and grandkids play locally.”
