June 9, 2024 – The Decatur Airport will host its annual Airport Funday on June 15th
The Decatur Airport Funday will feature activities and educational opportunities Saturday from 8 am. to 11am. Kids will have the opportunity to climb aboard the Park District’s Striker emergency vehicle. The event will also include the Scovill Mobile Zoo, where children can see various animals. The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will offer free Young Eagle flights for kids aged 8-17 from 9am. to 11 am.
Participants can also tour the tower to learn about airport operations.
