June 30, 2024 – The Decatur Area Arts Council will host Mac n’ Cheese Fest on Saturday, July 20th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Fairview Park Pavilion.
There will be a variety of macaroni and cheese-inspired dishes prepared by local restaurants, food vendors, and caterers. Each participant will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dish, with the top choice receiving the “Big Cheese” Award.
The event will feature live performances from local bands. There will also be art vendors selling handmade crafts, games with chances to win prizes, and a selection of beers available for purchase.
Food-tasting and drink tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event. Buying tickets in advance is encouraged. The ticket options are as follows:
Four Tasting Tickets – $10.
Non-alcoholic Drink Ticket – $2.
Beer – $5 (available on the day of the event only).
Mac n’ Cheese Festival merchandise will also be available for purchase at the event.
