July 1, 2024 – Empowerment Opportunity Center will be hosting it’s annual Local by the Lake event at The Beach House on September 20th at 5:30pm.
This event serves as the Empowerment Opportunity Center’s fundraising initiative, showcasing locally sourced ingredients paired with regional beer and wine offerings. This is the third consecutive year for the event.
The event will feature interactive activities with prizes, a silent auction, live musical performances by J Brew and the Crew—a Springfield-based Jazz band—wine tastings, a appetizers, cash bar, as well as Y103’s Terrence “TAT” Taylor as emcee.
Empowerment Opportunity Center’s mission is to provide opportunities that empower people facing financial instability to reach economic self-reliance and an improved quality of life, and to advocate for those we serve alongside community partners.
