July 1, 2024- This summer, the Devon is once again hosting their annual Movies Under the Stars.
Though the movies are free to the public, outside food and drinks are not allowed. If attendees are planning to sit in the terrace, they should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. The gates will open at 7:30pm and the shows starts at dusk.
Movies include:
June 22nd – Hairspray- Presented by Starry
Hairspray is an American musical about a teenager Tracy Turnblad who auditions on the Corny Collins show and wins. This leads to overnight fame and her new status allows her to bring racial integration to the show.
July 13th – Cool Runnings – Presented by Caterpillar
Cool Runnings is a movie where a Jamaican Sprinter is Disqualified from the Olympic games. He enlists help of a dishonored coach to start the first Jamaican Bobsled team, despite having never seen snow.
September 7th – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Presented by Starry
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a movie where four teenage mutant ninja turtles emerge from the shadows to protect New York City from a gang of criminals.
