July 17, 2024 – Andrea Gerhard of Decatur has joined the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation (HICF) staff, serving as the HICF Director of Scholarships and Grant Administration.
“I am delighted to welcome Andrea to our team,” said HICF CEO Natalie Beck. “Andrea’s skills and expertise will help us serve our donors and reach new heights of success. She brings passion, energy and excitement to her new role.”

Gerhard comes to the HICF with 23 years of prior experience in the higher education field, holding positions in student development at Carroll University, Bowling Green State University and Millikin University.
