Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion provided assistance to residents of the hip-hop superstars’ hometown of Houston following Hurricane Beryl. Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation hosted an emergency relief drive and partnered with the Houston Food Bank to help distribute water, ice, food, and essential items to Texas’ residents who were impacted by the storm. Scott’s foundation also teamed up with Houston Responds to start an emergency hotel grant to provide temporary housing for displaced Houstonians.

Megan Thee Stallion and her Pete And Thomas Foundation partnered with Bread Of Life, Inc. to launch the Emergency Power Program, which is aiming to provide generators for senior citizens across Houston. “It’s been painful to watch the elderly population in Houston suffer without electricity during these devastating storms,” Meg said in a statement. “That’s why we wanted to partner with Bread Of Life to take a strategic approach to this problem and secure generators to help protect our senior citizens.”  (Billboard)
